Pollinators and Ontario

Pollinators (esp. bees) are being affected by increased use of pesticides (Neonicotinoids). Pollinators have huge environmental importance as plants depend on them for reproduction which directly impacts food supply to humans and animals. They create diversity in plant population.

In Ontario, the govt is developing an action plan and have created a survey for Ontarians. Please participate in this process by sharing your thoughts and recommendations on the new Pollinator Health Action Plan and help improve pollinator health in the province.

Your feedback will be considered by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs when they report back to the public with a final Action Plan in spring/summer 2016.
