African village communities are the poorest communities in Africa. These communities are in need of sustainable project development that will generate income for their communities, develop their people and place them on a path to economic empowerment whilst still having regard for their culture and environment.

Hand outs are not the solution. An African proverb states, “Water that has been begged for does not quench the thirst”. This proverb rings true as observed from the numerous aid said to be given and still these communities are still poor. For a project to be sustainable, it has to be beneficial to all parties involved. Such projects will need funds/investors, subject matter experts, project managers, project developers, accountants, entrepreneurs etc. Examples of possible projects include energy, water, youth training, waste management, agriculture, natural resource development etc.

Understanding this perspective, my organization, EnvironFocus has started the process. We are working hand in hand with interested communities to design and implement sustainable projects using current clean technologies that can easily be integrated into these communities to improve their environmental, social and economic status. We will do this in collaboration with identified partners that meet our objectives.

Our partners consist of the clean technology businesses, funders (international agencies and investors), businesses, governments, NGOs etc. We will go above and beyond for these communities. Our vision is to create meaningful change in our world by providing solutions solely guided by sustainability principles. We look forward to working with people who share our vision. ‪#‎Sustainability‬ ‪#‎Africanvillages‬ ‪#‎Development‬ ‪#‎DevelopAfricaFromWithin‬
